Job Summary We are seeking a strong and enthusiastic SALES COORDINATOR based in Milan to join our growing Cluster Team. You will be responsible for assisting the Sales Team in administrative tasks based on commercial objectives and aligned with the sales plan and marketing strategy. We are looking for an energetic candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, with a passion for service and hospitality. Responding to the Director of Business Development. Responsibilities Provide coordination and full administration and operational assistance to the sales team. Conduct sales research and collect data to prepare reports and documents. Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities to maximize revenue. Be the first point of contact for all sales-related inquiries, providing administrative support and liaising with other hotel departments. Assist in qualifying leads, sending out sales proposals, and converting inquiries while working closely with the sales team. Assist with preparation and follow-up of sales trips, client events, and workshops. Proactively look for new sales opportunities and cross-sell at all times. Conduct client site inspections of the property. Coordinate with all hotels and specific departments within the hotel to ensure distribution of important information. Provide administrative duties as required by the Director of Business Development. Support in updating sales materials (promotional flyers, sales demo kit) and update the customer database. Create and manage Company and Travel Agent profiles on the property management system. Track inquiries and revenues in line with the processes in place. Skill & Knowledge This is the ideal role for someone wanting to develop a career in the hotel sales & marketing department. While the primary responsibilities are administrative, you will gain exposure to both reactive and proactive sales, as well as an understanding of all market sectors (MICE, corporate, and leisure) and support with data analysis, qualifying leads, and assisting in show rounds and sales events.
You will be passionate about the hotel industry and keep informed on local and global industry trends and best practices.
High level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets. Excellent organizational and administration skills. 1-2 years of experience in a sales, events, or booking environment. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and adjust to changing priorities. Self-starter and strong collaborator - friendly, customer-centric, and able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate the ability to take initiative.
