For the growth of our team, we are looking for a Sales & Business Development Intern for Hiop Data Platform.

Company LanguageThe official company language is English (knowledge base and documents), so high proficiency is required. The company is located and operates in Italy. About the PositionAs a Sales & Business Development Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by combining your technical knowledge with your sales acumen. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in technical sales processes, customer relationship management, and business development, allowing you to develop and refine your skills in a real-world business setting.
Duration: 3 to 6 months
ResponsibilitiesTechnical Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients.Sales Support: Assist the sales team in creating technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to the client's needs.Customer Engagement: Participate in customer meetings, providing technical insights and support to drive sales opportunities.CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate and up-to-date information.Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and attending industry events.Product Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team to help improve our offerings.Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales goals.Preferably You Are…A student in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.Curious (and a bit geek) about technology and AI.Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Analytic, pragmatic, and result-driven.A creative thinker with a keen eye for identifying customer needs.Talented in written and verbal communication both in English and Italian.Knowledgeable in basic technical concepts and software solutions.Familiar with CRM and sales automation tools.Familiar with technical sales processes and customer engagement strategies.At the End of the Internship You Will Be Able To:Work in a dynamic environment like a start-up.Develop time and priority management skills.Work in an international and multidisciplinary team with people operating in different areas.Interact with different stakeholders operating in a deep tech business.Develop and refine technical sales skills and customer engagement techniques.Reimbursement of Expenses: We offer a reimbursement of expenses to support your daily commuting and other work-related costs.
Hybrid Working: Hiop has a very flexible policy with the possibility of working in coworking in Milan, Altamura (BA), Marsala (TP) or another location to be agreed.
