Job Summary: As a sales associate, you will be the face of our company. You will highlight our brand and image while contributing to building our reputation as a company that values its customers and their opinions. Duties and Responsibilities:CUSTOMER SERVICE: Proactively engage and connect with customers, ask questions, listen to customer needs, direct customers to merchandise, and inform them about upcoming events and promotions.SALES: Cross-sell products, make suggestions based on customer needs, upsell products, learn product features, and use a Point-of-Sales system for transactions.INVENTORY: Be the keeper of merchandise, complete inventory processes, and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.DEPENDABILITY: Adhere to assigned work schedule and complete work assignments accurately.Qualifications:PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of products and merchandise.EXPERIENCE: Retail experience preferred but not required.COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents, and communicate effectively with customers and peers.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to multi-task, work as part of a team, and take initiative.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May involve lifting at least 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work typically performed indoors but may be assigned outdoors depending upon location.
OTHER SKILLS:Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a desire to provide outstanding service.
WORK HOURS:Available to work a variety of hours which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
No experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
