On behalf of a design company, we are now looking for a: Sales Area Manager – US, UK, and Northern Europe The Sales Manager, directly reporting to the Sales Director, will define, share, lead and execute the sales strategy for US, UK and Northern European markets aligned with Company guidelines.
He/she will extend the contract customers (such as interior designers, architects, hospitality and luxury retail stores) and will act as the Brand Ambassador to the customers and every other person that can interact with.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate in drafting the commercial strategy in line with company needs and reference markets; Responsible for turnover in the area of his/her competence in line with the Company target assigned; Manage (existing) and develop (new) the customer base through local agencies, setting strong and long-lasting relationships with new ones.
Analyzing and scouting new business opportunities in line with Company policy and best practices; Managing process relationships with accounts to ensure constant check on client statements, due payments, VAT positions, and trade licenses control; Analyze market trends through timely business intelligence and market analysis; Monitoring sales performance through control over the achievement of defined KPI's.
Requirements: Degree in sales and/or economics, secondary in architecture, and design; At least 3 years of experience in a B2B sales organization and market fields such as Luxury, fashion, design, and Art; Deep knowledge of the US and UK distribution channels; Outstanding sales approach and strong negotiation skills; Able to build solid and long-lasting business and professional relationships (internal and external); Fluent in English; Willingness to travel.
