Randstad Professionals is specialized in the search and selection of middle & senior management profiles. On behalf of our client, a global provider of custom-engineered machinery, we are looking for a:

SALES AREA MANAGER | SERVICE DIVISION

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Area Manager will be responsible for building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, developing sales opportunities, negotiating with customers and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop the pipeline of new business coming into the service organization, prospecting for potential new opportunities and clients and turn this into increased business;

Identify potential customers and the decision makers within the client organization and opportunities for service's campaigns that will lead to an increase in sales;

Be accountable for overall deal strategy, resolving, tracing and escalating critical issues to minimize project risk factors, ensuring deliverables are being achieved within the base-lined time scales and cost plan.

Prepare commercial proposals and drive the negotiation with customers;

Communicating intensively with clients, sub-contractors and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationship;

Guarantee Quality, Completeness and Time Responsiveness throughout the overall commercial stage.

Ensure compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree (or equivalent work experience) Engineering or related field of study;

Experience within similar function (5-7 years) preferable in a Machinery business environment;

Experience in commercial/sales management activities recorded in the Service Industry.

Availability to travel (50% of time);

Good knowledge of English.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
Highly proactive, flexible and results-oriented;

Good communication and decision-making skills;

Motivation, trust building and conflict management.

Salary Package: the salary will be commensurate with the seniority of the candidate
LOCATION: near Novara - 2/5 smart working
