Envolve Consulting, an independent company specialized in management search, selects a Sales Area Manager for a prestigious multinational company operating in the air heat exchanger sector.
The role, reporting to the Segment Sales Manager, will have the mission to achieve the components' commercial objectives for the assigned area, identify and pursue new business opportunities in DACH region to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify market/customer requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability in the agreed sales territory.Establish new and maintain existing relationships with customers.Regular customer visits and reporting.Provide pre-sales technical assistance, defining technical-commercial solutions to customers.Drive creative solutions to minimize the importance of price and maximize the differentiated values of product.Be aware of and share any important information about market trends.Monitor competitor behaviors.Monitor customer payment behaviors in collaboration with the credit department, adjusting the credit limit according to the situation and in line with the Company procedure.Participate in the annual budget setting process and be able to comment on relative prospects.Report regularly on market trends, competition strategies, and customer behaviors which may affect business strategies and on quotation & project potential.Key Requirements
Technical education or bachelor's engineering degree.Fluent in English and German both written and oral.At least 3 years of professional experience in Sales and Business Development B2B in companies focused on selling machines for industrial installations.Experience in the field of heat-transfer or air heat exchangers would be a plus.Availability to travel for 30% to 50% of working time.
Based in Belluno, business trips in DACH area.
