Our company is expanding its management team in Lainate (Milano), Italy.We seek a highly analytical Sales Analytics and Planning Manager to join our team.
This key role is critical to providing the factory with reliable input for production planning and ensuring efficient supply chain and logistics operations for our "build to stock" business model.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in data analysis and sales forecasting and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
An inclination to embrace and introduce A.I.
tools will be a plus.English fluency is a key pre-requisite as Baoli network partners are located across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.Tasks and Qualifications:Your responsibilitiesSales Forecast for Production Planning:Collaborate closely with the sales team to gather, analyze, and provide accurate demand forecasts to the factory for production planning.Conduct data-driven analysis to identify trends and patterns in sales data to optimize inventory levels and production schedules.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure production plans align with market demands and product availability.Inventory Configuration Planning:Calculate the correct inventory value and SKUs to hold into the Central EU Baoli inventory, made available for all countries and dealers within EMEA.Monitor inventory trends and aging, providing input for sales campaigns.Accurately plan and recommend configurations for always readily available stock based on market trends, customer demands, and historical data.Collaborate with the product management team to ensure the right product mix and options are readily available.Supply Chain and Logistics Optimization:Develop efficient transportation and warehousing planning strategies to support "build to stock" operations.Analyze historical and real-time data to enhance supply chain and logistics efficiency and reduce costs.Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize routing, inventory management, and distribution.Data Analysis and Reporting:Utilize advanced data management and extraction techniques to generate meaningful reports, forecasts, and plans.Run comprehensive data queries; code new queries when appropriate.Prepare and present reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for data-driven improvements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.Proven capabilities in sales analytics, Sales Planning planning, and preferably in the forklift, related industries, or industrial machinery.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP is essential.
Advanced Reporting tools skills are a plus (i.e.
PowerBI or others).Strong data analysis and data management skills, including statistical analysis and data extraction.Problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make it understandable to diverse audiences.If you have the required skills and experience for this role, we encourage you to apply.
