Job Description Leading cross-functional acquisition teams from business opportunity identification to award
Developing acquisition strategies and aligning with global customer accounts
Organizing meetings and interfacing with OEMs to understand requirements (specification of requirements)
Defining acquisition and pricing strategy for OEM sourcing (medium & complex acquisitions) while achieving profitability targets
Collecting and validating cost-down measures in the acquisition value chain
Developing program timelines and work packagebreakdowns
Achieving common agreements in conflict situations and driving escalations in own responsibility
Preparing and presenting project status/approvals to management
Obtaining required releases (Business Acquisition Review panel, Quote Approval Matrix) and signatures
Preparing quotations, cost breakdowns and customer presentations
Managing price negotiations and explaining cost details to the customer
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related
5+ years experience in Automotive Sales or Project Management
Preferred:
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset
Technical knowledge of automotive products and processes (including steering systems)
Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver clear & concise messages
Customer experience quoting/negotiating with OEMs
Ability to make decisions in complex environments
Motivator who is able to lead teams towards a common goal
Ability to quickly build internal networks and has experience working in global cross functional teams
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
