Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide Your Role: As a Safety Assurance Manager you will manage, perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects.In particular, manage, perform and ensure the safety acticities related to the ETCS trackside or IXL group within the RC Mainline Wayside team.Location: This position is open both in Bologna and in BariYour Challenges:Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the Projects of his/her perimeter as per Safety process defined in Signaling Safety InstructionPerform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspectiveDefine safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planningBuild the Safety Reports and the Safety CasesApply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the ProjectAttend to periodic Safety ReviewsDefend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessorsCoordinate Safety Assurance Engineers involved on ETCS or IXL projectsSupport the review of eventual safety issues and their root cause identification and mitigation measuresQualifications:Engineering degree (preferably Electronic Enginnering) or similarItalian and English operational in speaking/reading/writing for technical documentationKnowledge concerning the Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc) and safety methodology & concepts/principlesStrong experience in RAMS / Functional Safety Assurance is an assetMastering full engineering cycle (from specification to validation tasks) and related interactionsExperience in evaluating and monitoring the workload and the schedule of safety activies on multiple complex projectsBehavioural Competencies; Structured and organized; Proactive behaviour; Sense of anticipation and urgencyAbility to execute and coordinate analyses, design reviews and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards & procedures in accordance with projectBe a detail-oriented individual, thoughtful and deliberate in your approach to conducting research and analysesPossess a strong work ethic and be task focused.
