Job Title: Rotating Equipment Engineer The Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the maintenance plan of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, gas and steam turbines, and other critical machinery. The main tasks associated with the role are: Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment, while identifying actions for cost reduction and process improvement. Perform technical investigations in case of failures for corrective repairs and capitalize on lessons learned. Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications for modification, taking into account previous availability data and process. Provide training and knowledge sharing to other engineers, quality inspectors, and operators. Provide technical input for purchasing specifications, including evaluation of technical proposals. Follow event reports with the aim of identifying causes and suggesting (new) technical solutions. Attend meetings with suppliers, customers, and rotating machines specialists in HQ. Support in preparing CFT for new maintenance contracts or new purchase orders for new equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and safety, to ensure seamless integration of rotating equipment activities. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and rotating machinery-related roles, with comprehensive knowledge of gas compressors, steam turbines, pumps, and gearboxes.
