The current open position for Production Manager is an on-site position that requires all facets of production management, including but not limited to ordering materials, scheduling labor crews, scheduling with homeowners, coordinating all applicable trades, reviewing invoices, and updating our CRM platform. The position is a full-time salaried opportunity and occasionally some nights and weekends may be required.
The right candidate will facilitate all aspects of planning, estimating, logistics, and customer service for 50+ roofing/siding jobs per month. Primary activities include:
Facilitate and manage multiple roofing/siding jobs simultaneously (10-15 builds per week)
Manage master schedule for all roofing/siding jobs
Prepare roof/siding material estimates and purchase orders
Coordinate material orders and delivery
Facilitate subcontractor schedules and updates
Communicate process and schedules with customers
Audit and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices
Resolve issues with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers
Develop and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Oversee roof/siding build quality control
Picking up checks from homeowners
Requirements
Demonstrated track record of working with customers and providing an exceptional customer experience
Working knowledge of the roofing and siding industry and installation practices
5+ years experience in roof and siding material estimating and purchase order compilation
Experience with managing and mentoring junior team members
Exceptional organizational skills, ability to balance and prioritize hundreds of activities and tasks
Proven track record of holding self and others accountable
Appreciation for, and tendency to deploy, standard processes and operating procedures
Comfortable with computers and web-based software platforms
Competent in maneuvering Office 365 applications, especially Excel
Exceptional communication skills
A knack for customer de-escalation
Education/Knowledge:
High School Diploma, additional training, and/or relevant education
Spanish speaking desired
Six Sigma or similar training desired
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.
