Role Responsibilities The successful Robotics Automation Engineer will:
Prepare control specifications in order for technologies to be implemented. Perform PLC control level issue diagnosis. Develop and automate self-service tools and customer facing components that enable business growth at scale. Drive projects to improve engineering, test, and operational excellence best practices on team Provide detailed analysis and testing of existing and new engineering solutions and components. Work in cross-functional team environment, to develop controls specification and training documentation for the Facilities Engineering team. Take responsibility of incident follow-up, root cause analysis and documentation. Undertake industrial engineering design on existing and new material handling systems across our World Wide network. Support commissioning of new automation elements. Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety procedures. Be proactive in the raising of potential H&S issues and the development of personal safety awareness. Partner with different stakeholders in order to build effective relationships. A day in the life
The Robotics Automation Engineer is a European role that requires traveling in order to support different projects located in Germany, Italy, Spain and France. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and documenting control solutions for robotics and material handling systems. The Robotics Automation Engineer will work autonomously in the field with different European stakeholders, internal and external, acting as single point of contact focused on controls for the project assigned. The engineer will work with the vendors and project managers to develop the ideal solution for the technology both onsite and remotely. This role will also provide proper training and support to the local Facility's Controls Technicians on device troubleshooting.
