Robotic and Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer Parma, Italy (Hybrid working, 3 days on-site per week) We are seeking a talented and experienced Robotic and Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer to join our client's team in Parma.
The successful candidate will contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge obstacle tracking and 3D reconstruction algorithms, playing a pivotal role in the development of these state-of-the-art technologies.
Primary Responsibilities: Auto-Labeling Tool Development: Design and develop an offline auto-labeling tool using advanced robotic and computer vision algorithms.
Algorithm Development: Develop and validate multi-object tracking algorithms along with deep learning models.
System Development Collaboration: Work closely with the team on system development and real-world testing on vehicles.
Documentation and Reporting: Produce detailed documentation and reports to support team collaboration and project transparency.
Essential Experience: Educational Background: MSc with at least 3+ years of relevant industry experience or a PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or Computer Vision with internship experience.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in the development of robotics or computer vision algorithms.
Software Skills: Strong programming skills in C/ C++ and Python.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in Italian, with B1 level proficiency in English.
Multidisciplinary Inclination: Interest and ability to work across various fields such as computer vision, machine learning, and robotics.
Desired Experience: Deep Learning: Experience in developing and validating deep neural networks.
Containerisation: Familiarity with Docker/ Kubernetes.
Embedded Systems: Experience in embedded programming is advantageous.
