Your RoleThe Road Logistics Operator works within the Road Logistics Function. The Road Logistics in Kuehne+Nagel is a fundamental asset and provides Road shipping and Road forwarding solutions to achieve customer performance goals. Partners with Clients belonging to a wide spectrum of industries (Pharma Healthcare, Perishables, Project Logistics, Automotive, Industrial and High Tech) and offers a wide range of tailor-made and end-to-end services (i.e.: Time-Defined Products, Road-Sea, Road-Air, Cargo Insurance, Customs Clearance, Fairs & Exhibitions), leveraging digital transformation and providing sustainable shipping options for customers to decarbonise their transport. The Road freight capacity is built upon our Network with the most effective gateways and long-lasting strategic carrier relationships. Is part of the Groupage Department and belongs to the Export and Import Operational Teams. Execute administrative duties and ensure transport services for customer orders. Supports the management of exceptional and special transport requests, and recognizes operational issues impacting the service. Supports the Sales Team providing insightful data and advice to establish and enforce partnerships with customers.
Your ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery and collection scheduling by dealing with carriers, hauliers, subcontractors, and third parties.Contribute to customer management, in terms of administrative support (customs clearance, invoicing, and other administrative duties).Maintain good relationships with both existing and potential customers to ensure retention and growth.Promote company services to customers, chasing new commercial partnerships.Your Skills and Experiences2+ years of experience in similar roles.Excellent oral communication skills.Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.Highly self-motivated and directed.Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.Service and results-oriented.Fluent in Italian, and good level of English.Minimum: Bachelor Degree.Good Reasons to JoinSince 1890, Kuehne+Nagel is committed to shaping the world of logistics with a strong determination to connect people and goods through innovative and sustainable logistics solutions.
