**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.
We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
In this role, you will be the main driver of the Lean Strategy and Vision for the Rivalta Plant, working closely with the Plant leader and his Leadership Team to define and implement the plant lean roadmap, generating a detailed plan and giving the pacing of the implementation.
You will also lead our lean and six sigma learning plan, project development and best practices sharing process.
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Lead the improvement plan of the Plant, organize and lead Kaizen event, lean academies.
- Develop a strong basis for OMR and implement Leader Standard work at the staff level, leading by example.
- Partner of business unit Leaders in the Lean transformation journey
- Drive & foster a Lean culture, where the whole team owns transformation plan
- Lead complex & inter-functional improvement projects with a goal of enhanced performance
- Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices
- Provide leadership and direction to Lean team and cross-functional teams empowered to execute the Lean strategy for process improvement
- Communicates solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations
- Facilitate, train, and coach the Rivalta Plant in the use of Lean tools
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or similar)
- Robust experience in the Operations environment with increasing responsibilities
- Proven experience in Lean roles
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong relationship & leadership skills: able to influence, motivate and work effectively within a matrix environment
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.
