Together with the site management, you ensure consistency with policy, as well as the standards and priorities of the improvement plan, taking into account legal requirements. A privately held, family-owned and operated company, Kemin has more than 3,300 global employees and operates in 90 countries including manufacturing facilities in Belgium, Brazil, China, India, Italy, Russia, Singapore, South Africa and the United States.ResponsibilitiesAs the HSE Manager you will serve as the head of the HSE department and will be responsible for:Designing, implementing, development and maintaining the HSE system policies, programs and proceduresAssist with developing or updating plans such as SPCC, SPPP, emergency response, and contingency planning.Ensuring that all applicable internal and external reporting requirements are performed accurately and in a timely mannerLeading or taking an active role in activities to reduce, reuse and recycle. Leading projects for Safety, Health and Sustainability within the EMEA regionReporting of KPIs related to health and safety in accordance with regional standards.Investigation of (near) accidents, incidents, and taking action to prevent recurrence Daily contact with the workplace to promote safety programs and accident preventionManagement and supervision of two further small plants Parma and Crema.
