Your role Clearly understand performance expectations in terms of technical services and support.Meet with Radiology Informatics services, applications and sales teams as required to provide customer feedback, assist with project plans and align schedules. Provide back up as necessary to other team members.Take local responsibility for the technical components of assigned Radiology Informatics project installs from start to completion.Participate in training programs to enhance technical and application skills.Assist in providing technical direction and support to Application and Testing teams.Interface with the Project Manager, Customer & Applications team and provide reports to Service Management, as requested.Support the Incident Support team in the accumulation and distribution of technical information and when necessary support upgrades of Radiology Informatics solutions.Meet or exceed performance expectations in the delivery of technical services and applications support.Keep Philips Radiology Informatics service information database updated.Provide assistance and advice to the local teams in connection with generating sales of Philips RI solutions.Provide technical advice on software and hardware upgrades.Provide technical advice on changes to setup and functionalities.Interface to the Research & Development teams for software bug reporting.When not involved with the key responsibilities, the role will make full use of available time by undertaking projects to improve the technical services processes.You are the right fit if Bachelor/Master Degree in IT or equivalent desirableYou have 2+ year experience in a similar roleStrong team player who will act on behalf of Philips in Healthcare IT projectsDemonstrated acumen for understanding applications, workflow and network environmentsExperience in database developmentVerbal and written English language skills in addition to italian as local languageExcellent communication skillsExcellent troubleshooting and problem analysis skillsExperience of working in production environments against SLAsMinimum Skills: Database design, implementation/development, administration, dataguard, backups and recovery, tuningExperience of Oracle Programming Language, (PL/SQL developer)Development of simple integration components (COM object based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, HL7, etc)Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Server, Vmware and HiperV solution Understanding/knowledge of Medical Standards: DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7) and Integrating the Healthcare EnterpriseDesired Skills & Experience: Oracle DBA levelSQLCommon network protocols and technologyCommon security technologies and practicesStorage Platforms technologies (RAID, SAN, NAS, tape libraries)High availability technologies (i.e. based on OS, Veritas, Oracle)Web and HTML technologiesOracle database programming experienceGeography: preferably based in Genoa or Milan and willing to travel up tp 70% of time within Italy and Greece.
