Your future job: Reporting to the Finance Manager your role will be:
Proactively and collaboratively work across the company to determine strategies that can effectively be used as a lever to grow revenue and improve profit for the organization with accountability for development and implementation. Give guidelines on pricing, assortment and product prioritization. Develop tools and processes for in-market optimization. Analyze product volume, margin and competitive prices to provide trade spend recommendations. Coordinate and orient in a cross-functional way the E-store, Traffic and Finance teams to adapt the strategies and actions of RGA, ensuring alignment with the strategies and objectives of the category and brand. You are in charge of: Creating and implementing the commercial plan:
Co-write commercial plan in cooperation with E-store manager/Traffic manager/controlling and finance manager. You know our offer and opportunities versus competitors, that you fuel with laredoute.it performance, benchmark analysis and inputs from Product team. You define pricing strategy at a category/family level, taking seasonality into account. You will be responsible for benchmarking product range pricing structures: price collection, formalization of price pyramids by product family, comparison with competitors. Identifying discrepancies and making recommendations to category managers. Managing the pricing policy: You will recommend the best practices for product markdowns (golden rules), monitoring the competitors' pricing strategy, and execute it. You will manage the structure of sales campaigns with regards to the scope of products concerned and the markdown rate, in collaboration with the management control department. You will measure the effectiveness of the pricing policy (KPI analysis) and propose appropriate action plans. Monitor marketing campaigns, promotions and commercial activities: You will provide the marketing department with information to guide the sales plan's decisions. You handle product data and make it usable for decision-making. Monitoring and analysis of the business: You analyze & follow the performance of the different Fashion & Home product categories (monitoring of product KPIs: turnover, discount rate, product margin and site KPIs: page views, transformation rate, ...) and present Italian performances and strategy to Fashion and Home Workshops twice a year. You analyze & identify the different product growth levers, which you share with the e-store/marketing team. What's expected from you: This position requires a blend of marketing and finance competencies. You need to know our products, as well as our competitors' offer and pricing strategy. You have at least 3 years of experience in similar tasks. You are fluent in Italian and English. French is a plus. You are a team player and a decision maker. You know Home and/or fashion sectors. You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management or Finance. You have an excellent knowledge of Excel. Good reasons to join us: Excellent location in Milan. Fast growing environment.
