Position Title: Retail Team Member Department: Operations Reports To: General Manager Position Purpose and Objectives America's Thrift Stores is currently seeking Retail Team Members!
We are looking for individuals with excellent customer service abilities, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to assist others.
Successful applicants will excel in driving sales by delivering exceptional customer service both at the register and on the sales floor.
Responsibilities include maintaining proper display setups, ensuring merchandise presentation is top-notch, and upholding cleanliness standards for operational efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities Warmly greets and engages with customers upon entryPromptly responds to customer inquiries and requestsAssists customers in locating merchandise throughout the storeOperates the register as necessaryMaintains a well-organized and visually appealing sales floorCompletes any additional duties as assigned by managementSkills and Qualifications High School Degree, GED or equivalent work experience preferredMust be at least 16 years of ageDisplays excellent sales and customer service skillsAbility to anticipate customers' needs and recommend merchandiseProlonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.Ability to count and handle moneyAbility to operate cash registerMust be able to meet physical demandsPhysical Demands:
Occasionally - Carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs.Continuously - walking on tile/concrete, bending, kneeling, and reaching waist/overhead level.Other:
