As we expand our presence in both retail and wholesale channels, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team in Milan.D1 Milano is an Italian Watch Brand with over 3 million people visiting our website every year, more than 800 POS worldwide, more than 500K social community and over 120 000 watches sold each year.Position Overview:Reporting to CEO Dario Spallone, the Retail Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of key operational elements essential for sales success, including merchandising, visual presentation, training, and sales tools. Leading a team comprising flagship store sales personnel and Visual Merchandisers, this role ensures the smooth flow of operations across both retail and wholesale channels.Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive briefings to the Brand Manager based on gathered requirements and develop useful tools accordingly.- Coordinate with Supply Chain for the proper allocation of display materials and tools.- Collaborate with commercial and marketing divisions to fulfill functions across various channels.- Ensure flawless execution of promotional events and special occasions.- Oversee consistent implementation of visual communication, including storefronts, internal merchandise layout, displays, and POP materials, aligning with brand commercial and communication strategies.- Assess and address staff training needs, implementing training projects covering product knowledge and professional development (sales techniques, communication, objection handling, etc.).- Organize, coordinate, and motivate the team, ensuring effective management and supervision of activities and associated costs.Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate is a curious and dynamic manager , possessing excellent English language skills, and with over 5 years of significant experience in a similar role within luxury accessories, cosmetics, or premium consumer goods companies operating through direct distribution or franchising across multiple international markets. They exhibit natural leadership, balance, solidity, and clarity required to become a reference point within the organization, embodying the standards of performance and professionalism. With a rigorous and reliable approach, they excel in organization, problem-solving, and lateral thinking. Authoritative yet flexible, they adapt successfully to diverse situations and integrate seamlessly into the company culture.
