Restaurant Manager | Iconic Restaurant | Rome

As Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. Your duties include hiring and training restaurant staff based on company policies, supervising all areas of the restaurant to monitor activities and handle problems that arise. You will also manage all areas of staffing, including scheduling employees.
Main duties: Hire, train, and supervise restaurant employeesCreate staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffingTrack stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessaryAddress customer needs, comments, and complaintsAdhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standardsProcess payroll and maintain all relevant recordsEnsure all employees are working within outlined operating standardsReport on financial performance, inventory, and personnelDemonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgetsComfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as neededWhat we're looking for: High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred20+ years of food and beverage service industry experience requiredExperience in general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and securityStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent leadership skillsKnowledge and focus on the work safety mattersPositive attitudeFluency in Italian and EnglishLocation: Rome
