Job Description
To manage the day-to-day business operations.
Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all staff on the floor are meeting and exceeding standards of guest satisfaction and serviceProvide leadership, problem solving and decision making in all areasProvide ongoing training, motivating, and monitoring of staffAchieve and/or exceed sales projectionsRegular communication with Supervisors and CaptainsMonitor cost of outlets within approved budgetCreation of schedule within payroll budgetConduct employee performance reviewsProvide discipline when necessary and complete required documentationHandle guest requests and complaints and authorize compensation when necessaryMaintain and establish relations with internal and external suppliers and representativesPOS upkeep and programmingAttend weekly department Manager meetingsCompletion of all office duties and meeting deadlinesMenu and function planningProvide floor support when business levels require including expediting food, preparing and serving beverages, conducting quality checks etc.Adhere to and enforce organizational policies and proceduresActively contribute to a positive and motivating workplace Qualifications
Education in Hospitality/Tourism is a must2-3 years of managerial experienceKnowledgeable in a variety of liquor and winesAbility to multitask and prioritizeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompetent in POS and Open Table softwareComfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to remain composed while working in a fast-paced environmentCreative problem-solving skills
