The Sales Manager we are seeking will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and profitability by overseeing the entire sales function and ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and increasing the company's sales team and strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
You will be a vital support to increase sales, brand awareness, and the general growth of our prestigious luxury Estate.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: A Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies and objectives that align with the company's overall business goals and market conditions, driving appropriate market segments with a laser focus on Italy, UK, and Europe; Sales Forecasting: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer data to make accurate sales forecasts and set achievable targets; Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and ensuring that sales goals and quotas are met or exceeded; Manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle; Continuously assess and improve the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals; Foster and maintain strong relationships with key travel stakeholders and customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention; Strategically evaluate and make decisions based on data, identifying changing market conditions and introducing appropriate changes in sales and marketing strategy; Develop and manage the sales department budget, allocating resources efficiently to support sales activities and initiatives; Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, ensuring all projects are executed with an emphasis on increasing sales; Monitor and report on sales performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics; Organize and deliver yearly site visits identifying key stakeholders that will support the positioning of Reschio as a market leader destination; Produce monthly sales reports that include the reporting on appointments and calls made, activities accomplished, and sales leads generated; Identify potential risks and challenges in the sales process and develop mitigation strategies; Ensure that the sales team adheres to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards; Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales & reservations team; Travel and attend trade shows and major events; Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities; Review tools that allow us to connect with customers and continue to develop this road map of communication; Proactively coordinate and organize FAM trips in selected hotels in line with business needs.
We require: At least 5 years as Sales Manager with a background in Luxury Hospitality or Luxury Real Estates; Proven sales track record with a strong knowledge of the luxury consortia business; Strong values of integrity and ethical conduct; Strong strategic thinking abilities and the capacity to align sales goals with the company's overall business objectives; Demonstrated leadership skills; Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; Fluent in English and Italian; other languages knowledge is a plus; Problem-solving and analytical thinking for setting sales targets, forecasting, and optimizing sales processes; Results-oriented and able to drive the team to achieve them; Be a team player and have a pro-active approach; Tech-savvy: Microsoft suite, CRM systems, and sales automation.
