Job Title: Technical Documentation Manager
About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned technical documentation manager to oversee a team of skilled writers. Key responsibilities include managing a group of technical writers, ensuring timely delivery of operation and maintenance (OM) deliverables and milestones, and developing an understanding of customer needs.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of technical writers to produce high-quality documents Ensure timely delivery of OM deliverables and milestones Develop an understanding of customer needs and implement customer feedback Identify opportunities for process improvement Review operation and maintenance manuals delivered by subcontractors Requirements: 2-5 years' experience as a project manager or people manager with a technical documentation team Minimum 3 years' railway system engineering experience and knowledge of integrated systems Ability to develop a working knowledge of technical products, processes, and applications Excellent communication and leadership skills International experience and ability to manage international projects Knowledge and ability to review maintenance documentation from sub-suppliers Experience in modern Lean and Agile Organization Desired Skills: Operation and maintenance processes RAMS and Maintenance Plan process Planning and organization Editing software programs Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
