From the multi-cultural strength of our global organization to the sustainable and innovative ways we work to bring people together, there's something for everyone to get stuck into.Accountabilities: Manage a group of experienced technical writers to produce customers' operation and maintenance documentation.Ensure on-time provision of O&M deliverables and milestones in accordance with project schedule and budget.Ensure preparation and delivery of Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, and Training Program Plan.Ensure the preparation of technical specifications for subcontractor's manuals and training courses.Make sure Technical Writers effectively prioritize high-priority feature release work with other content, experience, and process improvements.Develop an understanding of how our customers use the manuals and what content needs are helpful; review and implement customer feedback.Identify opportunities for process improvement, including new editor software, and coordinate the implementation and communication of these changes.Ensure the review of operation and maintenance manuals delivered by the subcontractors.Participate in projects, bidding, and delivery phases within project schedule.Required Skills/Knowledge: Pioneering SpiritIntegrityTwo to five years' experience as a project manager or people manager with a technical documentation team.Minimum 3 years' railway system engineering experience and knowledge of the integrated systems that comprise a metro system.Ability to develop a working knowledge of technical products, processes, and applications.Ability to learn new technical skills quickly.Knowledge and experience in the application of railway Technical-Logistic support documentation.International experience and ability to manage international projects.Knowledge and ability to review maintenance documentation from sub-suppliers.Excellent communication skills.Negotiation Skills.Leadership Skills.Experience in modern Lean and Agile Organization.Desired Skills/Knowledge: Operation and Maintenance ProcessesRAMS and Maintenance Plan processPlanning and organizationExperience in editing software programsEducation/Qualifications: Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical EngineeringLanguages: English ProficiencyWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.Join us at Hitachi Rail.
