For a charming Luxury Resort in Tuscany, we're looking for a:Resident ManagerYou will be reporting to the Owner and directly responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the property.You will be:Fully responsible for all aspects of all departments (front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, etc.)
ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.Conducting regular operations team meetings with all the HOD daily/weekly to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, and any staff issues.
Minutes of the meeting to be sent to the Owner.Collaborating closely with department heads to set service standards and enhance guest satisfaction.
Ensuring SOP implementation in all departments and checking the same during routine operational checks.Monitoring guest feedback and implementing continuous improvements to elevate the guest experience.Acting as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, handling requests, complaints, and special arrangements with discretion and professionalism.Ensuring personalized guest experiences that reflect the unique character of the property.Overseeing the creation and management of unique guest experiences, including excursions, events, and other bespoke services.Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and luxury brand standards.Randomly inspecting the stores (F&B/Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, par stock levels, expiry, etc.)
with the F&B Manager & Chef.Dealing with Suppliers/Vendors for quality products involving Purchase Manager.Inspecting all departments with their respective Managers for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.Leading, motivating, and supporting a diverse team of hospitality professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally.Managing staffing levels, recruitment, and training programs to maintain high-quality service.Conducting performance evaluations and implementing strategies for employee growth and development.Monitoring and maintaining operation & overhead costs in order to maintain maximum revenue to the organization without compromising quality and service.Working closely with the Owner to identify new revenue streams and enhance profitability.Maintaining and protecting the property's luxury brand identity through adherence to established standards of service and presentation.Working with marketing teams to ensure consistency in guest communication and promotional activities.Ensuring the property consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of discerning luxury travelers.Collaborating with the Owner to develop and implement short- and long-term strategic goals.Providing regular operational reports, KPIs, and performance analysis to the Owner.Assisting in the planning and execution of renovations, upgrades, or new projects.What we are looking for:At least 5-7 years in a leadership role within a luxury hospitality environment, preferably as a Resident Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Operations or similar position in a 5-star property.Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus).Excellent standing and outgoing personality.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
