Resident Manager - 5*L Property in TuscanySiena
For a 5-star Luxury property in Tuscany, we're looking for a:
Resident Manager You will be reporting to the General Manager and directly responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the property.
You will be: Overseeing all departments (front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, etc.) ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.Collaborating closely with department heads to set service standards and enhance guest satisfaction.Monitoring guest feedback and implement continuous improvements to elevate the guest experience.Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and luxury brand standards.Leading, motivating, and supporting a diverse team of hospitality professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Managing staffing levels, recruitment, and training programs to maintain high-quality service.Conducting performance evaluations and implement strategies for employee growth and development.Acting as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, handling requests, complaints, and special arrangements with discretion and professionalism.Ensuring personalized guest experiences that reflect the unique character of the property.Overseeing the creation and management of unique guest experiences, including excursions, events, and other bespoke services.Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance across all departments.Ensuring cost control measures are implemented without compromising quality and service.Working closely with the General Manager to identify new revenue streams and enhance profitability.Maintaining and protecting the property's luxury brand identity through adherence to established standards of service and presentation.Working with marketing teams to ensure consistency in guest communication and promotional activities.Ensuring the property consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of discerning luxury travelers.Collaborating with the General Manager to develop and implement short- and long-term strategic goals.Providing regular operational reports, KPIs, and performance analysis to senior management.Assisting in the planning and execution of renovations, upgrades, or new projects.What we are looking for: At least 5-7 years in a leadership role within a luxury hospitality environment, preferably as a Resident Manager, Director of Operations, F&B Manager or similar position in a 5-star property.Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus).Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Financial acumen and guest-oriented mindset.In-depth understanding of luxury hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality trends.Charismatic, detail-oriented, and able to foster an exceptional service culture.
