IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a Research Technician to join the Infections and Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Division of Immunology, Transplantation and Infectious Diseases.
Our lab is dedicated to advancing knowledge through a translational research approach that bridges basic science and pre-clinical research.
We aim to: i) Understand the genetic and molecular mechanisms involved in host-pathogen interactions during both initial and persistent infections, and ii) Develop new and improved treatments for infections and cystic fibrosis.
In partnership with the Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation, we have established the CF animal Core Facility (CFaCore), which serves as a platform for pre-clinical studies and the testing of novel antibacterial and anti-inflammatory therapies.
The successful candidate will participate in pre-clinical studies aimed at evaluating the efficacy of new therapeutic approaches.
This will involve working closely with academic and industrial partners.
