**THE ROLE**
You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.
The Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence Research Unit is coordinated by Dr. Daniele Pucci.
The research combines theoretical investigations with real-time practical implementation on real hardware and embedded electronics.
Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be:
- develop algorithms, methods or technologies for the Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence cutting-edge robotics research lab
- support the activities of the research line
**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Master's degree in one of the following areas: robotics, control engineering, artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering, software engineering, electronic engineering, biomedical engineering, wearable robotics, or any other related field to robotics and AI
- Very good academic track record
- Creative, proactive, and collaborative attitude
- Good command of spoken and written English
**ADDITIONAL SKILLS**
- Experience with robotics experimental systems
- Experience with machine learning tools
- Experience with robot dynamics, control and estimation
- Experience with programming languages (C++, Python, MATLAB), and middlewares (e.g., YARP, ROS)
- Experience with GitHub or other code versioning tools
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
- Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset
