We are seeking full-time Research Engineers who are eager to join us in this rapidly evolving industry at Dallas, Texas.

As a Research Engineer, you will have the chance to collaborate closely with our scientists, business leaders, and industry partners, gaining hands-on experience in transforming research into commercially viable products. This role will involve creating polymer samples, developing new formulations, and conducting thorough material testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and process polymer samples in the lab Develop and optimize polymer formulations Conduct material characterization of polymer properties Work effectively in a laboratory environment as a researcher Assist in the synthesis, characterization, and analysis of materials Record, analyze, and graphically present lab data Collaborate in weekly meetings and contribute to technical discussions Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of experimental results EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related STEM field.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Basic knowledge of polymer properties (e.g., Tg, modulus) Familiarity with polymer synthesis techniques Experience working in laboratories as a researcher Proficiency in data processing and analysis using Google Sheets Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines and work independently EXPERIENCE OR SPECIAL SKILLS DESIRED: Experience with physical and chemical testing: DSC, TGA, FTIR, UV-Vis, etc. Experience in developing polymer formulations Basic statistical analysis and data reporting skills SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
