Offer Description The researcher will provide their contribution to the development of a mathematical model for the simulation of the unsteady flow past the hull of a boat moving in presence of sea waves.
The model developed must be able to evaluate the impact of the surrounding wave field on the unsteady motion of the hull.
The potential flow solvers will be developed using open-source software libraries, which are already under development at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca and are based on Boundary Element Method (BEM) discretization.
