Job Title**:Research Assistant**
Background Field: Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Science
Location: Buttrio (UD), Italy
**Responsabilità**:
The main project we are working on is simulating the continuous casting process. To deepen our knowledge of the behavior of molten steel and solidification processes inside the casting machine, our research team is looking for a new physicist to join in.
You will work in a team of physicist based in Danieli Research Center. Your task is to explore various scientific methods used in different fields in order to extract more information from a "casting machine", such as spectroscopy, sensitivity analysis and other methods used in various fields.
We are looking for a young physicist who is willing to find, study and understand relevant scientific methods and articles which can deepen our understanding of molten steel. You are also expected to evaluate the possibilities and practicality of such methods and collaborate in implementing the feasible ones.
**Requisiti tecnici**:
- MSc degree in either Condensed Matter Physics or Materials Science;
- Experience in researching scientific articles, reporting and briefing;
- Good fluency in written and spoken English.
