IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for for a motivated and talented candidate with interest in stem cells to join the iPSC Factory team at CRB (Centro Risorse Biologiche). The activities of the iPSC Factory are part of an institutional project of high relevance and are of interest to the Ministry of Health. The successful candidate will be expected to provide technical support and assist in research for the automated high-throughput derivation of induced pluripotent stem cells.
Main activities:
Perform experiments to support investigative work (cell culture, FACS analysis, confocal microscopy, etc.)
Process human samples for long-term storage and biobanking
Maintain accurate and timely record of test results
Participate in key aspect of general lab management and organization (prepare stocks and culture media, maintain appropriate levels of all laboratory supplies, control ordering process)
Who we are looking for:
Master's degree in biology, biotechnology or similar
Experience in cell culture and molecular biology, microscopy and flow cytometry
Previous experience in iPSC reprogramming and/or culture would be considered as a plus
High accuracy, reliability, precision
Friendly, collaborative, pro-active mindset
