Team Introduction
The EU & Global Functions Research & Insights Team drives strategic thought leadership and serves as a consultative partner to the Global Business Solutions organization
**Responsibilities**:
TikTok is looking for a full-time researcher in the Marketing Science Team in Italy.
This role will partner primarily with our business marketing and sales teams, and external research vendors to help plan and deliver world-class research that can drive our voice to the market.
In addition, this role will partner with our Measurement Partners, Data Scientists, Brand Strategy, Marketing Creatives and user-growth teams to further align on clear research questions, practical methods, and a focus on scale with hypothesis-driven story-telling.
What you will do
- You will be leading and co-developing together with business marketing and sales vertical teams research projects that may touch consumer or creative insights where your ability to bring in unique ways to build research hypotheses will empower the quality of your work.
- Represent the Research & Insights team at Milan office and the company at local industry events, webinars, or other places where your work can come to life.
- Help shape the structure of how this Insights function will contribute to the Global Marketing Solutions organization.

**Requirements**:
- Relevant bachelor's degree in a research field with a focus on quantitative methods; graduate degree's in a social science, mathematics, operations, business, digital marketing, behavioral psychology, or survey-based research methods is strongly preferred
- A track record of 5+ years implementing and managing insights programs for complex organizations and business for the Italian market is a must.
Familiarity with industry research on digital platforms and research providers are highly preferred
- Italian language proficiency is required for the role - excellent external communication and writing skills are a must
- Experience with advertising research suppliers in United States and / or Europe is a must
- Proficiency with individual and group based qualitative methods, as well as quantitative methods that include statistical concepts and survey design is a must
- Examples of going above and beyond to show how research drives behaviour change inside an organization is a strong plus
- Intellectual curiosity with the latest research and operational methods needed for this role.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
