Job Summary: In the Sales Development Representative role, the right candidate is responsible for prospecting potential new clients and booking appointments for the Business Development Representative to conduct with a Sales Engineer to close IT services contracts. This includes actively calling prospects over the phone, lead generation/setting appointments via phone, email, and LinkedIn – actively working a list.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Relationship building with prospects through different prospecting methods to include calling, emailing, and social media to identify new business opportunities, build relationships, and help drive growth. Aggressively identify qualified opportunities and book appointments. Nurture early phase opportunities for future pipeline potential. Generate business and meet quota with prospecting activity and sales goals. Maintain records of key business intelligence with key influencers and decision makers. Must have ability to cold call, prospect, and convert calls to actual booked meetings with a proven record in lead generation and finding new sales prospects. Must be driven to build a book of business and leverage all methods of generating leads. Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with the Internet required. Familiarity with IT Services/Professional Services is a plus. Work Experience: Recent Sales Development experience with a proven track record of 2 years or more. Exceptional people skills - personable. Written/Spoken English: Good, native preferred - Excellent / Native or near-native English. Disciplined to follow up and work on cadences. Doesn't discourage easily, self-starter, motivated for growth. Qualifications Education: High school diploma; some higher education preferred. Formal and/or technology support/training and certifications are strongly preferred.
Location: Fairfield, CA
Position is: Remote Nearshore (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua)
Weekly Hours: 44 hours, weekends off.
Pay Monthly: $1,100-$1,300 US monthly.
