Description: Belcan is looking for a Primavera P6 Project Scheduler with 5 plus years of experience. This position can be remote, however local candidates are preferred. This is a direct, full-time position with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have at least 5 years of scheduling experience for engineering projects utilizing Primavera P6. You will be working with engineers, project managers, and cost account managers as projects are executed from engineering and development to production.
Job Duties:
* Responsible for creating and maintaining multiple technical project schedules; understands how each schedule relates to another using IMS guidelines regarding the following: resource loading, critical path, program milestones and how these affect the entire schedule.
* Contributes to and understands the design and setup of the project: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS), the creation/assignment of codes needed, tasks, assignments, durations, and linkages.
* Evaluates project timelines, deadlines, and budget, identifying potential delays and overruns and facilitating intervention.
* Lead meetings to perform schedule status updates; updating progress on tasks, performing task additions/removals, and linkage updates as needed.
* Lead efforts with technical team to schedule and lead meetings to gather the necessary data to meet deadlines and project budget.
* Be the liaison between Technical Leads, Cost Resources, and client on Earned Value Management (EVM) projects to analyze Earned Value (EV).
* Lead project schedule cleanup efforts, conduct audit preparations
* Create and generate reports, as required, to provide client business leaders and technical team on key metrics, milestones, critical path, cost analysis, and (for EVM Projects) key EVM metrics and milestones.
* Support Master Scheduler with tasks as requested or directions as given.
Required Qualifications:
* Education: Associate degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project scheduling or project management experience.
* Highly organized, detailed oriented.
* Ability to work independently and with team.
* Familiarity with DCMA 14 pt assessment & EVMS
* Some technical, or mechanical background is preferred. Emphasis on experience working with Engineers.
* Ability to take ownership of your work and the overall success of the program you are supporting.
* Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U.S. Citizen
* Must be willing/capable of obtaining a security clearance. Having one is a plus.

Primavera P6, Aerospace industry experience, EVMS, DCMA 14 pt assessment
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $60,000-85,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
