Job Description The appointed person will be expected to have a key role in the team, with the below responsibilities:
Managing and developing proposals and projects covering all environmental aspects and associated regulation. Overseeing remediation projects from beginning to completion. Overseeing project budget and costs-benefit analyses. Coordinating and appointing subcontractors. Implementing the remediation proposals and handling all technical aspects. Performing generic and detailed quantitative risk assessment. Carrying out site work including set up and commissioning of treatment systems. Ensuring all parties meet compliance with environmental regulations. Obtaining necessary permits involved in the remediation project. Training staff on how to use and implement remediation systems. Compiling technical reports, daily logs and soil, water, and chemical audits. Building sustainable relationships to meet our business development goals. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our services and team by evaluating project successes and challenges and sharing lessons learned to enhance performance within the business. Applying and encouraging a high level of health and safety awareness and quality management at all times. Ensuring effective communication with the project team and clients. We are particularly looking for candidates with the following:
+7 years of related experience, with a multinational company, is preferred. Fluency in Italian and English. Technically skilled to perform process-oriented and sampling tasks. Demonstrable ability to keep up to date with the latest legislation and compliance requirements. Motivated individual with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with the initiative to complete tasks. Excellent planning and organizational skills and be a time manager. Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally to conduct site visits. Open and honest. A background in Industry is advantageous, as is experience in the Consulting sector. Licensed to drive a vehicle in ITA (essential). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Environmental Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering
