Purpose of the role The role will be focused on starting-up and managing the Remarketing business, developing a national strategy, creating rollout processes, procedures, and channel support of overall country commercial objectives.
Key Results/Accountabilities expected from the role The Remarketing Manager will report to the Head of Sales.
He/she will be in charge of managing all the activities related to the used car business, residual values monitoring and influencing, short-term rent buyback planning and management.
Main tasks of the resource will be: Developing annual business plan according to uc vision working on different remarketing channels.
Defining used car strategy, process, and procedure.
Creating and managing agreements with third-party suppliers related to the used car business.
Ensuring efficiency in the buyback phase working together with fleet department, logistics department, and finance department.
Creating and maintaining partnerships with RV setters.
Planning and developing retail used car programs, by maintaining relationships with dealers.
Planning and developing web/bid sales used car programs.
Remarketing Manager will be in charge of: Used car price setting.
Creating wholesale forecasts.
Reporting activities for top management.
Interface and manage remarketing suppliers.
Support logistics and finance for strategic decision and invoicing/payment management.
Dealer sales management in order to increase profit and maintain RV on the Italian market.
Work on specific programs with RV influencers for increasing brand's RV.
Experience & Requirements of the candidate Bachelor's or master's degree.
At least 3 years of experience in Remarketing in the automotive sector.
Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory.
Proficiency in Office package use (especially Excel).
Excellent analytical skills and commercial attitude.
