Job Title: Relocation Transition FacilitatorLocation: AVIANO, PORDENONE, IT-36 33081Job Type: Part-time (the working time will not exceed 20 hours a week)Job Overview:Facilitate a smooth transition for all DoD personnel and their families relocating to the Aviano area.
The contractor will primarily assist during Newcomer's Orientation, Benvenuti Welcome Tour, and Italian cultural programs designated to enhance and educate personnel on the Italian lifestyle.
This will help to reduce relocation stress and anxiety, enabling all members to settle into their new surroundings and contribute to mission effectiveness.Duties:Newcomer's Orientation Assistance: Collaborate with the relocation team to organize and facilitate comprehensive Newcomer's Orientation sessions.Benvenuti Welcome Tour: Lead or support the Benvenuti Welcome Tour, showcasing key areas of interest in the Aviano region.Cultural Enrichment Programs: Develop, coordinate, and participate in Italian cultural programs designed to enhance newcomers' understanding of the local lifestyle, traditions, and customs.Relocation Support: Offer personalized guidance and support to families throughout the relocation process, addressing concerns, answering questions, and connecting them with the appropriate resources.Education & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.G., International Relations, Cross-Cultural Studies, Social Sciences) or equivalent work experience.Must read, write, and speak both English and Italian fluently and clearly in order to provide the services.Must be in good physical condition, able to stand long periods of time, including but not limited to climbing stairs, walking, or standing.Capable of exercising good sound logic and judgment to independently make appropriate decisions to meet customer needs.Have suitable knowledge of current computer applications, including use and operation of Microsoft Office Suite software and Outlook.Possess good customer service and oral communication skills.
