POSITION PURPOSE About this position The Relationship Management Associate (RMA) role will play an important role in supporting the T Rowe Price Italy Intermediary Sales Team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be part of a vibrant team working in a fast-paced and friendly environment with several Relationship Managers (RMs), supporting them in various ways including meeting preparation and follow-up, reporting and research, Salesforce (CRM system) management, managing pipeline and opportunities, and liaising with other teams across the business such as Marketing, RFPs, and Operations. The RMA will support both the Advisory sales team - looking after the retail business through Financial Advisors, Private Bankers, and Bank's branches - and the Discretionary team - which deals with fund selectors, portfolio managers, and their back offices. We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual with a genuine appetite for Investment Management and a passion to learn more about funds, financial markets, and the industry. Outstanding communication and organizational skills along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and work calmly in a fast-paced environment are essential. The ability to build long-lasting relationships both internally and externally is also very important for the role. Principal Responsibilities Provides client service and sales support of a high quality, such as:Assisting Relationship Managers in preparation for client meetings, preparing sales presentations, assembling material, delivering notes where relevant Sourcing sales material and updating sales and educational presentations used by Relationship Managers Assisting and contributing to the successful organization and delivery of webinars and other client events, both physical and virtual, including inviting clients and following up Assisting in the onboarding of new clients, liaising with the client's departments and internal relevant teams, such as Legal, Investments, and Operations Responding to ad-hoc client requests Facilitating the implementation and/or delivery of client reports Sending follow-up emails as agreed and directed by Relationship Managers Requesting Requests for Proposal, Due Diligence questionnaires, or any non-standard presentation materials for anticipated client sales pitches, meetings, or events Assisting in the completion of the above RFPs/DDQs Completing any client/internal meeting notes and follow-up as agreed with the Relationship Managers Maintaining client records, contacts, opportunities, and at-risk business in the Client Relationship Management system (Salesforce) Liaises closely with Local and Global Marketing in relation to any planned client communication or events and assists with client-related preparation. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing, together with the relationship managers, details of client contacts for any communication and for following up after any event or activity as assigned. Liaises and coordinates with other internal teams, such as the Investment Team, RFP team, Operations, and Account Liaison, to respond to client inquiries. Builds a thorough understanding of key investment strategies and establishes relationships with the investment teams. Develops a detailed understanding of the applicable investment vehicle structures. Proactively identifies and raises suggestions for improvements to the quality and effectiveness of processes and customer service.
