How you will learn and grow:
As part of the Regulatory unit within the central R&D team of the Self Adhesives business unit, you will work directly with the Regulatory Manager; at the same time, you will be involved in selected R&D projects.
The regulatory team has the duty to ensure full design compliance with the regulations for all the products of the Self-adhesives business unit, which ultimately means ensuring their human and environmental safety.- You will have the opportunity to work in an international and stimulating work environment alongside talented professionals.- You will gain a deep technical knowledge of the Fedrigoni Self Adhesives product portfolio, understanding in depth the laws which technically regulate the packaging and chemicals, and being constantly exposed to customers and suppliers to acquire/supply information.- You will monitor new upcoming legislation or the progress of existing ones that could affect our products (REACh, Food legislation etc.
).- You will update products' technical documents.- You will request technical legal status of components to suppliers.- You will propose, design and commission tests for product characterization (fire, food contact, etc.
).- You will promptly provide regulatory information and status about products to internal and external customers.-
- You will actively take part in project meetings with the marketing and purchasing teams.- You will take part in selected R&D projects.
What you'll add to the team:
- You have a master's degree in chemistry or related disciplines, or Engineering.- You are interested in understanding the interaction between technology and regulations.- You are reliable, flexible and have great interpersonal skills.- You are curious, eager to learn and have a hands-on approach.- You can handle and manage big quantities of data.- You have a strong customer orientation.- You are fluent in Italian and English; Spanish will be considered a plus
