She/he will be responsible to ensure that the company strictly follows government rules and regulations, with extensive interaction with regional and national regulatory agencies.
The specialist is expected to keep his company updated on regulatory policy and procedural changes.Description of Main Activities/Responsibilities:Assess and verify compliance of IRCA products to meet Food Regulations across EU and APAC.Assist on technical requests (questionnaires, position statements, etc.)
on assigned portfolioMaintain regulatory data readiness and integrity in IRCA systems.Provide technical information and assistance to customer service department as necessary to maintain positive customer relationsKeep abreast with regulatory updates that will impact our products and communicate to stakeholder to ensure existing products are in compliance with the new regulation.Approve product commercializations in IRCA SystemsAble to write, concise but detailed and easy to understand regulatory horizon scanning and regulatory strategies that could support business growth.Requirements:Education: Degree in Food Science and TechnologyProfessional Skills: Must have: customer technical relations and Regulatory knowledge of EU, US, APAC, Middle East and Africa countries; Nice to have: Religious certification (Halal, Kosher)Experience: At least 2 years in food regulations and in checking product compliance across EU, US, and APAC markets (either B2B / B2C) for Confectionery, Decorations, Bakery, and Ice Cream products.
