Main purpose of the role For our Group Regulatory Affairs Team located in Italy we are looking for a new resource who will manage all our product portfolio for the CIS countries (Turkmenistan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Ukraine, Customs Union - Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia), working on the food and labelling regulation, labelling verification and approval, preparing ingredient list and nutritional information, verifying raw materials and documents and handling other activities for Customs purposes.
The new joiner will be based in Lainate (MI) - Italy.
What you will do Monitor, verify and study food and labeling regulations and technical standards and their possible revisions in each of the country involved; Share information on food and labelling legislation/standards with other functions within the organization; Work closely with Marketing to support projects and issue advice coordinating with the Manager; Provide support to R&D on additives, raw materials, ingredients; Manage the compliance of products with national food legislation/standards of the territories involved; Prepare and issue ingredient lists and nutrition information upon recipe shared by R&D; Check the product labels providing the final approval according to local regulations to ensure compliance; Participate in trade associations, prepare reports and monitor bulletins; Prepare documents for Customs and Labs and submit them; Prepare documents for testing and test report verification and registration of the Declaration of Composition. Who you are Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biology, or Chemistry; At least 6 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs in multinational companies operating in the food industry in CIS markets; Russian oral and written mother tongue or proficiency level; Very good command of English; Excellent knowledge of food and labelling law (Europe); Good knowledge in preparing ingredient lists and nutritional information, starting from ingredients and raw material information, including those related to food supplements (i.e., vitamins and minerals); Very good capacity for analyzing legislation, evaluating impact assessments on company products and environments, summarizing and communicating key information to internal stakeholders; Ability to combine scientific knowledge with legal aspects; Quickly grasps the essence of subjects/legislation and new issues; High level of accuracy; Capability to carry out research from different sources; Cooperates and communicates across the company.
