ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Description
Due to parental leave, we have an exciting opportunity available for an interim Regulatory Affairs Manager Infant and Medical Food.
The position is based in Milan, where you'll be working in an impactful team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You will be part of the Legal, Government and Regulatory department.
The purpose of your role will be:
Ensuring all product labels used by Kraft Heinz in Europe comply with food legislation, government guidelines and company policies with a special focus on Infant Feeding products and Foods for Medical Purposes
Supporting Marketing in the provision and legislation approval of product information for all types of communication
Providing information and advice on legislation for product formulation and labelling issues
Approving ingredient and product specifications for legislation and nutrition and support other requests for information relating to labelling
Developing an awareness of EU and UK food legislation and government guidance
In brief, your main accountabilities will be:
To review and approve label artwork to ensure it meets legislation requirements, the main focus being on Infant Feeding products and Foods for Special Medical Purposes
To approve advertising copy and external communications to ensure they are not misleading and conform to legislation
To review recipes and ingredient specifications, ensuring compositional requirements are met, codes of practice adhered to and company policies complied with.
To support the business in the provision of label information relating to products sold in Europe
To develop relevant knowledge of Kraft Heinz business processes, products and relevant legislation.
Qualifications
University Degree in scientific field
At least 4-5 years experience dealing with regulatory, ideally within government authority, leading companies or consultancies;
Deep knowledge of the European Food legislation
Strong proficiency in English; Italian is a plus
EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) is necessary in order to proceed for this position.
