Position: Full-time Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm.
Duties/Requirements:
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently. Possess basic computer skills competency. Be in good standing and under no sanction or suspension listing by the Federal Government. Possess U.S. citizenship. Administrative Duties:
Maintain clinical workload and productivity. Adhere to Joint Commission standards, legal regulations, and health care protocols. Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities. Practice aseptic techniques and comply with infection control guidelines. Participate in emergency situations and implement safety procedures. Attend required annual training classes and in-service training sessions. Document patient care accurately and maintain records. Operate automated systems (MHS Genesis, CHCS, AHLTA) and participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Risk Management (RM) functions. Comply with HIPAA privacy and security policies. Participate in Emergency Preparedness Plan drills and actual emergencies. Possess and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. Clinical Duties:
Perform a full range of RN duties, including triage, patient assessment, monitoring, and treatment. Formulate and execute goal-directed care plans based on nursing diagnosis. Provide treatment, discharge instructions, and patient education. Assess patients systematically and create a safe environment. Assist in planning and provide clinical guidance to other staff members. Demonstrate competency in medication administration and phlebotomy. Participate actively in staff development and personnel evaluation. Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills. Provide counseling and health teaching to patients and their families. Participate in the orientation and training of new personnel. Collaborate in the review of clinic standing operating procedures. Serve as the first-line primary care team member for a designated patient population. Ensure standards of ambulatory care nursing practice are met. Experience:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing, from an accredited agency such as the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in anyone (l) of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Have successfully completed at least 12 classroom hours of continuing education within the preceding 24 months that maintains skills and knowledge as an RN. #J-18808-Ljbffr
