Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care including care before, during and after procedures while patients are in the G.I. Center. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation) throughout a patient's stay in the G.I. Center from admission to discharge. Communicates effectively with other G.I. Center team members to ensure appropriate, timely, and professional care to all patients. Provides professional and technical skills to ensure safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of patients in the provision of patient care. Responsible for maintaining technical and theoretical knowledge of G.I. procedures, equipment, and disease processes & treatments. Is responsible for the use of AIDET with every patient encounter and demonstrates understanding of HCAHPS and a culture of patient centered care. Reports directly to the Director of the GI Center.

Midpoint: $55.73
Maximum: $69.86
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit Knowledge of growth and development over the life span. Knowledge of dysrhythmias and appropriate interventions Current CA RN license, CPR, ACLS required. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Preferred Qualifications:
