To implement VM for the ME region using global product display directives Maintain VM standards for the ME Region through training and open communication To set and maintain the highest standard of VM within stores with clients always being the main focus To maintain high energy levels To be fully conversant with the history of Dolce and Gabbana and use this information in executing VM initiatives To work with the VM directives to do all seasonal store change overs To ensure every store has a copy of the VM product display directives To photograph every in-store change for the central VM portfolio To develop, agree, maintain and deliver a VM calendar for each key location in conjunction with the relevant manager and in line with the brand VM plan Work with the Visual Merchandiser in the planning and co-ordination of VM for in-store promotional events and ensuring the VM achieves its maximum potential Work with all teams across the Region to raise the VM Product Display standards To attend regular store visits and walk throughs with the regional sales team Toorder and manage MEA Region POS and administrative duties relating to merchandising To work closely with Brand Image to ensure that the merchandising is in line with the Dolce & Gabbana image and commercial objectives of the store To maintain the house keeping and VM displays with in the DG ME showroom To be aware of and follow all company rules and HSE legislation Building trust and credibility with store managers and wholesale accounts.
Coordinating an effective and consistent VM plan across different types of store and markets KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:
Educated up to A-Level or equivalent (preferred) Qualification in service fashion with minimum 5 years in the retail and luxury goods as Visual Merchandiser (preferred) Responsible and pro-active with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team (Essential) Administrative / logístical skills:
Following budgets, administrative systems, shipping of training materials (Essential) Experience in and shows aptitude to following, implementing and adapting product display directives (Essential) Experience of liaising with Senior Level Management (preferred) SKILLS DESIRED:
Creative - good eye for visual merchandising (Essential) Grooming to reflect a luxury brand (Essential) Confident / Positive / Enthusiastic / outgoing approach (Essential) Passion for the brand / The ability to enthuse clients about the brand (Essential) Communication skills (English and Arabic preferred):
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be confident to liaise with external suppliers, heads of product teams.
