The regional country office in Milan is part of the Region West, South and Eastern Europe (WSEE), which covers 36 legal entities in 21 countries in Europe. The regional country office in Milan is responsible for the activities of 5 legal entities in Italy and currently consists of a team of 6 finance professionals. As Global Shared Services Finance (GSS FI) in Italy, we are serving at least 5 business areas, including Business Assurance, Supply Chain and Product Assurance, Maritime, Energy Systems, and Inspection Services. We are recognizing more than 100 million EUR in revenue and are working with approximately 475 professionals in Italy. All standard transactional activities such as Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Record-to-Report are performed by our Global Center in Poland. Due to our continuous growth in the region, we are looking for an experienced regional tax manager who wants to join our team in Italy, responsible for ensuring (international) tax compliance and providing tax advisory on all relevant taxes. You will report directly to the Regional Finance Manager for WSEE and will be responsible for cross-border tax enquiries throughout the region, closely collaborating with the Finance Manager of our GSS FI team in Italy for local Italian tax-related activities. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the local finance team in Italy to ensure tax compliance for our Italian entities. Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT (IVA) reporting and IRES / IRAP, WHT reporting (certificazione Unica). Act as the point of contact for all tax-relevant issues for our Italian legal entities. Review and advise on the tax impact and considerations during external M&A projects and internal restructuring (mergers / share transfers / divestments). Monitor changes to (Italian and international) tax legislation across the region and advise on the impact on DNV's business, implementing changes as a result of new tax legislation. Support in identifying opportunities to optimize DNV's tax positions in the relevant region, mitigate tax risks, and generate process improvements.
