Ensuring accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP numbers, and that all compliance requirements are met.
This role will have a strong focus on the standardization and optimization of financial processes within the zone, rolling out strategic initiatives and working closely with the Controllership (incl.
Global Financial Services & Systems, Global Financial Accounting, Specialized Accounting Solutions) and COEs to put in place the optimal structures to drive efficiencies.
The role is also available in Barcelona(Spain) and Turin(Italy).What you'll do:As the Regional Senior Manager - Accounting and Controls for the EMEA Southwest Region, you will: • Lead all closing, accounting, and reporting for the region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational reporting timelines; • Ensure adherence to Eaton Policies, US GAAP, SOX, and local statutory/tax compliance requirements; • Oversee statutory reporting and serve as a corporate representative on statutory boards when applicable; • Collaborate with Operations to execute business strategies and enhance operational understanding; • Support strategic projects including tax, restructuring, M&A activities, payroll, and system implementations; • Drive optimization through the standardization, simplification, and automation of financial processes; • Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative high-performance work environment; • Ensure budget compliance and maintain a cost-effective organization; • Support all statutory, tax, customs, and internal audits while maintaining ethical standards.Qualifications: • Degree in Accounting / Finance, Master's Degree (professional qualification) is preferred; • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting, Finance.Skills:Experience of finance/accounting within a multinational manufacturing environment;Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley and US GAAP desirable;Fluent in English and French is a must;Strong interpersonal and communication skills;Change management and continuous improvement mindset;Able to work as part of a team and adhere to company standard processes, practices & policies;Demonstrate strong managerial courage;Skilled at building organisational capability.What we OfferCompetitive benefits package;Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team;Learning & Development - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University;At Eaton, promoting gender equality is central to our vision of creating a truly diverse and inclusive business where everyone matters, and everyone belongs;Great promotional opportunities – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
