What you'll do: The Regional Sales Manager develops and owns the growth plan for their assigned territory selling the Nanomedicine, Cytiva line of instruments, consumables, and support services directly to life science segments such as biotech, biopharma, and academia. Collaborate with the Account Manager (AM), Workflow Development Leader (WDL), Field Application Scientists (FAS), Scientific Inside Sales Specialists (ISS), and Service Sales Specialists to maintain and grow the territory. Meet and/or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through development and execution of a region and account-specific sales plan. Successfully navigate and manage complex sales negotiations. Engage and manage a multi-step sales process for both capital instruments and consumables. Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in consultative sales processes. Deliver technology and applications overview presentations, often in tandem with your FAS, to articulate Nanomed, Cytiva value proposition based on the needs of the customer. Facilitate resolution of customer issues by demonstrating a strong broad base of knowledge in business processes, Nanomed, Cytiva solutions, and domain expertise. Provide regular accurate sales forecasts, sales pipeline management activities, and organize/maintain account and customer contact management in CRM system. Who you are: A degree in a Life Sciences discipline is required. A Ph.D. and strong nanomedicine knowledge or cell/molecular biology background is an asset. Considered experiences in a commercial role, preferably in the biotechnology industry. Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers at all levels within the organization from Process Development scientist to C-Level. Demonstrated aptitude towards the selling process and a proven team player. You speak fluent English; Italian, Spanish, or German would be a plus.
